Planet Retail Hires Shopper Expert from Ipsos MORI

In the UK, analyst firm Planet Retail has appointed former Ipsos MORI shopper expert Lindsay Cowan as Chief Knowledge Officer.

Launched in 1995, Planet Retail delivers global intelligence, analysis and news covering more than 9,000 retail operations across 211 markets. Along with its London office, the firm has operations in Germany, the US, China and Japan.

Cowan joins with twenty years' experience in consumer and shopper insight. Most recently, she served as Head of Retail at Ipsos MORI, prior to which she was Director of Insight at Quant Presky Maves. Earlier, she set up a new global shopper team at TNS Research International, while working as Global Director of Shopper Insight and Marketing. She has also held senior roles at 5one Marketing, MDS Global Consulting, BroadVision and dunnhumby.
