Research and technology firm Vision Critical has enhanced its Sparq community software with Mobile Survey and Facebook features.
Sparq is billed as 'the world's most advanced and widely used online community panel platform', and allows both qual and quant research from one location, backed by scalable levels of management and research expertise depending on client requirements.
The new Mobile Surveys feature allows clients to design one version of a survey and distribute it to pre-registered and pre-screened target panellists 'anytime, anywhere' on multiple channels including desktop, tablets and smartphones. Sparq Mobile supports Android, Blackberry and iOS-based devices and allows survey response via smart phones or tablets, automatic device detection for survey display and routing / logic, preview options during survey design, and HTML5-based design for mobile browsers with no app download required.
Sparq Facebook Connect allows clients to invite customers to participate in and share updates from topical research projects within the Facebook environment. SVP Product Management Gordon McNeill says the addition 'unleashes the power of social networking by turning panelists into brand ambassadors.'
Company President Andrew Reid says the two upgrades allow Vision Critical's clients to 'engage a new generation of people who are tech savvy, continuously connected online and influential among their peers'.
