UK market research agency Firefish has appointed planner John Jones, formerly of Red Bee Media, as Group Head. He leads a team working on retail, FMCG and media accounts.
Established in 2000, Firefish offers both qual and quant services, and in June launched a specialist children and families research consultancy called 'The Pineapple Lounge'.
At Red Bee, Jones was a Senior Strategic Planner on BBC accounts. Prior to this, he was Managing Partner at the Blinic Partnership, Senior Planner at St Luke's Communications, Head of Qualitative Research at Informer Interactive Research, and an SRE at The Added Value Company. Clientside, he worked as European Research Manager at Levi Strauss Europe and at the BBC.
