Former Toluna director Katie Gross has returned to market analysis company Mintel to take up the newly created position of Vice President of the Beauty and Personal Care (BPC) division in the US and Canada, based in the Chicago office.
Mintel, which also has operations in London, New York, Shanghai, Tokyo and Sydney, yesterday announced the opening of three new offices in the Asia Pacific region, in Mumbai, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.
In October, the company launched a trending service for the BPC sector, offering brands and retailers monthly predictive analysis across nine categories, as well as case studies and company news from global beauty manufacturers.
Gross joins from the UK office of panel and research technology provider Toluna, where as Group Account Director she managed a team of nine execs, supporting online survey-based projects such as brand and ad trackers, in-home usage tests and online focus groups. Before this, she spent three years as an Account Director at Mintel in London, and worked as a Marketing Executive at Italian and Mediterranean products importer Avilton Foods.
In her new role, Gross reports to Jane Henderson, Global President of BPC, who comments: 'We are delighted to welcome back Katie. We have experienced her professionalism in her last employment with Mintel, therefore we are no stranger to her determination to do a great job for our clients.'
