Panel and research technology provider Toluna has introduced a new version of its iPad and iPhone app, to enable panellists to participate in its DIY QuickSurveys directly through their mobile devices.
QuickSurveys was launched in 2008 and allows non-research specialists to create short, targeted surveys which can deliver thousands of responses to up to 15 questions over a period of 24 hours. Last summer, Toluna added an 'Ask the Nation' feature, to allow companies to link survey results to census data.
Users can now target both iPhone and iPad users with their polls and receive answers from the global community straight to their mobiles; they can also upload pictures directly to their own polls, and publish surveys and opinions instantly on social networks.
CEO Frederic-Charles Petit comments: 'The Toluna community collects more than one million poll votes and opinions a day across 42 countries, and this innovative new app will broaden the scope of our already thriving community. It's already proving popular amongst users with 1,500 recorded downloads per week.'
