DigitalMR Names Country Director for Poland

London-based online research specialist DigitalMR has appointed Piotr Idzik as Country Director for Poland, with a remit to develop client relationships and drive sales of the firm's portfolio across the Polish and CEE markets.

DigitalMR was founded in 2010 by online specialist Michalis Michael, who previously worked as MD of MASMI, and at RGIS and Synovate. His company - which now has additional offices in Nicosia Cyprus, and Columbus, Ohio in the US - offers a 'holistic' consulting approach to web-based MR using social media research, web listening and technology platforms.

In tandem with his new role, Idzik will continue working as Senior Project Manager at MASMI, where he leads operations in the Polish office. He was previously a researcher at GfK Ukraine and at TNS OBOP, and he began his career at SPSS Poland.

At DigitalMR, Idzik takes a Central Eastern European remit, reporting directly to Michael, who comments: 'Having worked with Piotr I know he represents the key values of DigitalMR: young, energetic, positive, creative and a doer. He is a great fit and the time is right for us to formally establish our presence in Poland to meet client demand for our services.'
