Fieldwork UK and ICM Direct Merge

Creston-owned face-to-face specialist Fieldwork UK has been integrated with sister agency ICM Direct, in a bid to further strengthen its data collection offering.

Formed in 2000, Fieldwork UK provides domestic and international qual and quant face-to-face and field and tab services. The firm became a member of full-service research and insights consultancy ICM Group in 2008, since when, it has worked closely with ICM Direct to build its CAPI and CAWI services alongside other methodologies.

Earlier this year, parent firm Creston reported that despite a 'good' third quarter in its Insights division, it would be taking 'necessary actions' to align operating costs to the lower expected levels of sales in the fourth quarter.

So far these actions have included integrating the three ICM companies - ICM Research, ICM Direct, and Fieldwork UK - under the ICM Group umbrella; scrapping the role of ICM Group Chairman, previously held by Justin Sampson; and making a series of senior appointments including the promotion of Operations Director Neil Sykes to the Board and the appointment of David Reeves as Production Director.

Commenting on Fieldwork UK's integration with ICM Direct, Field Director Rebekah Joseph (pictured) said: 'The name change signifies how closely we work together and how we can combine the best of face-to-face with the capabilities of ICM Direct, to give clients the best solution.'
