In Australia, Photon-owned insights and strategy consultancy The Leading Edge (TLE) has appointed Chrissy Blackburn as Global Strategy Partner, Head of Brand Strategy. She will be based in the firm's Sydney office, while also working with its Asian, European and US operations.
Since its launch in 1990, TLE has grown to a business of four offices in Australia, Asia, the US and Europe. Its services extend beyond the research category to brand planning, management consulting, innovations, media, forecasting, econometric modelling and ROI.
For the past ten years, Blackburn (pictured) has been MD of brand strategy agency Red Spider, prior to which she served as Planning Director of M&C Saatchi in Sydney, and held planning roles at The Campaign Palace, Lowe and Partners Worldwide, Omon New York, and Magnus Nankervis & Curl.
In her new role, Blackburn will be working with The Leading Edge's local and international teams, driving the firm's client brand strategy offering.
