Two US researchers, Adam Weinstein and Nathan Lynch, have launched a new company, Synapse Research, providing global access for B2B and B2C projects using a proprietary data collection process, Smart Sourcing.
Weinstein was previously, formerly CSO at Universal Survey, Inc. while Lynch was VP of Operations at Authentic Response. During their combined sixty years of research experience, the two have worked as end clients, full service providers and data collectors, most recently with an online focus.
Smart Sourcing is described as 'a multi-sourced, intelligent process that enhances delivery, representation, and validity', using no fewer than 36 forms of validation to deliver 'an unprecedented 90%+ verification check on its members.' The partners say they will focus on 'a commitment to remaining flexible, nimble, and innovative, and pushing the market research industry forward.'
co-CEO Weinstein comments: 'Online research had shifted from a peripheral need to a primary mandate. But online acquisition hadn't caught up. No one had yet developed a way to affordably capture true global access, at the validation levels our clients deserved. So that's what we built.'
