Schlesinger Associates co-owner Debby Schlesinger-Hellman has been elected Chair of US professional body the Marketing Research Association (MRA); and also has a new role in her own company, that of EVP, US Qualitative Solutions.
As Chairman of the Board of the MRA for 2012-13, Schlesinger-Hellman will be involved in planning and implementing a new governance strategy for the association.
Qual and quant data collection firm Schlesinger Associates has a network of fourteen focus group facilities in the US, and also owns Paris-based fieldwork services agency ConsuMed Research and focus group facilities provider Passerelles; and London firm The Research House.
In her new role, Schlesinger-Hellman (pictured) will oversee qual services across the US in addition to planning for future developments in the qual offer.
Commenting on her promotion, CEO Steve Schlesinger said: 'Debby's appointment is instrumental in developing our capabilities to meet and exceed growing client needs and in continuing to add value to our qualitative services. She has over twenty years of qualitative leadership experience in our company and brings a wealth of industry knowledge to the role.'
