Irish sports betting chain Paddy Power has appointed former BskyB exec Danny Russell as its first Insight Director, and former Domino's Pizza director Robin Auld as Brand Director. Both commence their new roles in mid-October.
Russell (pictured) worked at BskyB for more than thirteen years; latterly as Marketing Strategy Director, in charge of the team which conducts all consumer, media and content research and provides competitor intelligence, social media monitoring, and data and analytics. Prior to this, he served as Planning Manager at British Airways, and held senior marketing research roles for Boots Healthcare International and Kraft Jacob Suchard.
Auld served most recently as Marketing Director of automotive paintwork repair specialist ChipsAway, prior to which he spent nearly seven years at Domino's as Sales & Marketing Director, was a Consultant at HeadlightVision, and was Senior Brand Manager at Carlsberg Tetley.
In their new roles, Russell and Auld report to Paddy Power's Marketing Director Christian Woolfenden, who comments: 'Danny and Robin are hugely experienced, innovative and creative individuals with outstanding track records in a variety of different companies, brands and sectors.
