Panel and research technology specialist Vision Critical has secured a $20m investment, which it says will be used to expand its product lines and support infrastructure, and further execute its global growth plans.
Founded in 2000, the company has offices across North America, Europe, Asia and Australia, from which it develops software and research solutions including community panel program Sparq.
The latest funding comes from venture capital firm OMERS Ventures, whose MD Derek Smyth comments: 'We believe Vision Critical's experienced and proven management team, combined with their clear platform vision, will differentiate them massively from their competition.'
Vision Critical Chairman Angus Reid (pictured) adds that OMERS Ventures shares his firm's 'entrepreneurial nature, aggressive growth strategy, and long-term vision' for the future of the market research industry.
