uSamp Hires Former Toluna Exec for European Push

In Germany, online sampling and technology company uSamp has hired former Toluna director Ronald Meier for its newly created role of Sales Director, to oversee growth across Europe.

Meier (pictured) joins uSamp's Frankfurt office from Toluna, where he worked for the past four years as Group Account Director. Earlier in his career, he ran his own business planning and sales consultancy, and he held senior sales roles at software and services provider Econe AG, telecoms firm Tiscali, Motorola Mobile Devices, and at audio systems developer Bose Corporation.

In his new position, Meier is tasked with rolling out the firm's technology and industry insight to customers across Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Eastern Europe.
