UK-based data collection agency Perspective Research Services (PRS) has opened a new call centre in St Albans, Hertfordshire, following the closure of its operations in Acton, west London.
PRS was founded by husband and wife team Richard and Jemma Sheldrake in 1996, and was acquired by B2B MR agency BDRC in 2007.
The opening of the new office follows BDRC's recent acquisition of St Albans-based retail specialist ESA Market Research, and the expiry of PRS's lease on its Acton office.
Fifteen members of the Acton-based team have relocated to St Albans, and Donna Parkinson (pictured), who previously worked in west London as Director of Field Services, transfers her role to the new office, where she has responsibility for all 75 staff.
Additionally, to meet the needs of ESA's retail clients, the St Albans office houses a mystery shopping team of fifteen people, led by Alasdair Cornwell, Director of Mystery Shopping, and Manager Vanessa Jackson. The relocation from Acton has concluded without any redundancies.
Richard Sheldrake comments: 'By moving our Acton team to St Albans we can take advantage of the very latest technology, and crucially we have the space we need to grow. The consistency in our experienced team, some of whom have been with us for many years, is one of the key elements that enables Perspective to continue to deliver the excellent level of service clients expect.'
PRS now has more than 135 CATI stations and a nationwide face-to-face field force of 900. Steven Flood continues as Director at the company's 60-strong central London call centre in Holborn, which conducts a high proportion of international projects.
