Sports broadcast measurement specialist Repucom has appointed former Kantar Sport Head Bruno Lalande, for the newly created role of Director of Strategy, EMEA, based in Paris.
Repucom - which is part of the RSMG Insights group - offers sports sponsorship evaluation including the measurement of brand activity at events and the performance of rival brands across the sponsorship inventory. Earlier this year, the firm partnered with Grupo IBOPE and Kantar Media joint venture IBOPE Media, to launch a sports research business in Latin America.
Lalande (pictured) previously served as Secretary General for Europe & Africa at sports and entertainment agency Lagardère Unlimited, prior to which he led Kantar Sport for more than eleven years. Earlier, he co-founded media and sponsorship research agency Access Press International.

In his new role, Lalande reports to COO Jeffrey Stiein, who is based in the firm's New York headquarters.
