The New York-based Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) has been re-named the Alliance for Audited Media (AAM), following its recent integration with the Certified Audit of Circulations (CAC).
The associations joined forces in September, in a bid to provide a new central repository of audited newspaper data, making cost savings in the process. The re-brand to AAM, endorsed by 94% of members, was put in place to reflect the non-profit organization's move into media verification and reinforce its position as an auditor of media across multiple platforms.
President and MD Michael Lavery (pictured) comments: 'With advancements in the media industry and the progress our organization has made in developing new digital audit services and cross-media expertise, we felt it was time to refresh our brand to better reflect our strategic role in the new world of media.'
The organization's new web site, through which members can access to a range of audited information and media analysis tools, is online at: www.auditedmedia.com .
