Data collection and sampling solutions specialist SSI has introduced an iPad app called QuickThoughts, which it says offers a 'highly intuitive' interface through which to target difficult-to-reach market research participants - especially young people, IT consumers and professionals.
SSI reaches respondents in 78 countries via Internet, telephone, mobile/wireless and mixed-access offerings. Additional services include questionnaire design consultation, programming and hosting, online custom reporting and data processing.
QuickThoughts rewards respondents with iTune credits in exchange for participating in surveys. The tool can be integrated with SSI's Dynamix sampling platform - respondents using the app are added to SSI's online sample using the proprietary SSI Blend solution, which controls sample consistency via personality, lifestyle and psychographic attributes.
David Zotter, SSI Chief Technology Officer, comments: 'Traditional survey-taking doesn't have much appeal to today's tech-savvy consumers. Sharing opinions online is second nature to this group, and they're looking for a sleek interface and a reward which is a fair exchange for their time. QuickThoughts gives them that.'
