Social media analytics and e-learning specialist Parta Dialogue is to acquire Paris-based social media listening and marketing tech company MyTwatch for an undisclosed sum.
MyTwatch, which was founded by Internet and marketing execs Philippe Gablain and Edith Nuss, has developed a social media crawler capable of gathering large volumes of data across all digital platforms, then using semantic analysis to analyse specific topics, trends and influencers.
Parta, which has offices in Montreal, Paris and Mexico says the acquisition will enable it to offer new products immediately, expand its customer base, and reinforce existing social media tools such as its eValue, Social Topic Scan, and Sharecasting solutions for listening, measurement and publishing. In addition, the integration will extend Parta's #engagementlabs offering, which is used to measure the performance and ROI of social engagement and optimization.
CEO Paul Allard (pictured) comments: 'MyTwatch's proprietary listening technology and semantic analysis round out our strengths in creating, distributing and measuring social media content. With the capability to execute in six languages, their platform will become a key aspect in our effort to attract customers globally.'
The acquisition is subject to due diligence and is expected to be completed by the end of this month.
