UK-based researcher SPA Future Thinking has appointed former TNS ops leader Sue Homeyard as Director of Operations.
The company was formed in 2010 through a merger between SPA and Future Thinking (the latter formerly known as TORA). Specialist areas include media, technology, shopper insight, kids and education, and the firm offers services such as concept, product and packaging development; customer satisfaction; and employee research.
Homeyard (pictured) most recently served as MD of the TNS Information Services division, which includes the Omnibus, Digitab and Direct Services business units. Prior to this she was Group Director - Joint Head of TNS Omnibus, and she spent fifteen years at TNS' telephone research arm Audience Selection, latterly as a Director.
In her new role, Homeyard will have overall responsibility for managing operational activity for the High Wycombe site, and she will also manage the field, CATI and data processing functions across the business.
CEO Jon Priest comments: 'Sue brings considerable experience from her time at TNS. Her knowledge will ensure that we maximise our operational offering to clients in the future. I have known Sue for many years and have no doubt that she will be a huge asset to the company.'
