London-based research panel and online community specialist Verve has moved to a new loft space in The Leather Market near Tower Bridge, in preparation for substantial growth during the year. The firm has also appointed Georgina Botting and Sali Turner as Directors.
Verve was launched in 2008 by the founders of Research Now, Hall & Partners and the iD Factor - Andrew Cooper, Mike Hall and Jon Gumbrell.
Cooper says the firm is set to double from its existing headcount of 50 people to around 100 over the next twelve months, helped by a £0.75m round of funding closed last August, and driven by anticipated growth from existing clients along with new client wins.
Botting joins with twelve years of experience primarily in online research and communities, most recently at Tpoll, where she headed the Quant team. Turner brings a strong commercial qual research background to her new role, following nine years as Qual Director at Conquest Research, before which she served as a marketer at SmithKlineBeecham.
Cooper comments: 'We have some fantastic clients who we are really enjoying doing more and more great stuff with, along with a strong pipeline of new business coming on stream which creates some excellent growth and development opportunities for all members of the ever growing team. Both George and Sali add yet further breadth, depth and passion to what we do.'
