Ugam Hires Retail Sector Leaders

Retails analytics firm Ugam Solutions has announced four appointments, aimed at 'significantly enhancing capabilities to provide clients with smarter and sharper analytical solutions.' The four are Sudhir Holla, Navin Dhananjaya, Sridhar Sharma and Vinayak Hegde.

Holla (pictured) joins as Senior VP and Head Retail, charged with leading the development of actionable insight solutions for the sector. He brings more than eighteen years' experience, and joins from Infosys Technologies where he was Head of Digital Commerce, and before that spent five years working on re-engineering projects at Accenture. His expertise includes demand forecasting and merchandise planning, apparel product lifecycle management, strategy and implementation.

Dhananjaya joins as Chief Solutions Officer, focused on conceptualizing and taking to market innovative retail analytics solutions. A co-founder of Manthan Systems, he also worked as Vice President of Mu Sigma, and brings extensive knowledge of designing and developing retail analytical products and solutions.

Sharma joins as Chief Technology Officer, overseeing the firm's technology roadmap and the development of its next generation insights platform and product portfolio. His ten plus years in retail include work in the UK, Singapore and India, and he joins from Infosys where he was Chief Evangelist and Architect with the Products and Platforms Group.

Hegde, who also joins from Infosys where he was a Principal Consultant, takes the title of Assistant Vice President and brings expertise in pricing, assortment and loyalty programs.
