UK-based consumer insight and database marketing company Transactis is upgrading its data centre and moving its Liverpool office to a new location.
The new, state-of-the-art office is in the Atlantic Pavilion at Albert Dock, the historic centre of the city.
The firm's TransAction database hosts detailed information on the shopping activity of almost 40 million consumers across more than 200 home shopping and eCommerce brands. The upgrade will improve integration of Transactis data, technology and expertise, resulting in improved speed, performance, adaptability and security, says the firm.
Transactis, which says more than 50 brands have joined its home shopping and retail client base in the last three years, says centralising the platform will also help it integrate its products with other data sets and services in the future.
CEO David Steele says the investment reflects his firm's commitment to its home shopping data co-operative members and wider client base, in difficult economic times. He adds: 'This investment will enable us to expand the range of marketing solutions we can offer to members and clients. What's more, the upgrading of the data centre across our organisation will allow the integration of marketing solutions and our growing fraud services business. The end result will be reduced fraud risk and increased customer profitability for our clients.'
