US-based online community specialist Passenger has promoted Thomas Finkle to the position of Chief Executive Officer, replacing former Chairman and CEO Bahram Nour-Omid who will remain Executive Chairman and continue to be involved in a strategic role.
Founded in 2005, with offices in Los Angeles, Palo Alto and New York City, Passenger develops online communities to provide real-time customer insight.
Finkle (pictured) joined last year as Chief Operations Officer, having worked for GfK since 2005 in a number of leadership roles including Chief Client Services Officer, Group MD for GfK Financial Services and GfK Technology, and previously President of GfK NOP Research and Consulting. Earlier in his career, Finkle was MD of TNS' Global IT practice in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific; and MD of the New York office of Goldfarb Consultants.
Nour-Omid comments: 'Thomas' track record of success, dedication to our customers and focus on innovation make him the ideal person to lead Passenger to new levels of success.'
