Netherlands-based agency SKIM has expanded to Latin America with the opening of new offices in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and San José, Costa Rica.
SKIM, which was founded in 1979, also has offices in London, Geneva, Rotterdam, New York and San Francisco, serving clients in the consumer packaged goods, healthcare, consumer health, telecoms, technology and financial services sectors.
The new Costa Rica office will be led by Director, Americas Juan Tello, who previously worked as Research & Analysis Director at INMERSO Market Research, and as Market Research Department Manager at Procter & Gamble. Meanwhile in Rio, Juliana Oliviera takes the helm, with a background that includes working at Coca Cola as Knowledge & Insights Manager, Unilever as Global Consumer Insight Manager, and Brasil Foods as a Food Engineer - Sensory and Consumer Test.
Tello comments: 'Latin America as a whole has enjoyed a decade of growth and has proven to be a resilient market despite the troubling global economic conditions. With increasing requests from major multinationals and big local players to help them uncover market opportunities through advanced research, Latin America is the next logical step in our growth path.'
