UK-based insight and innovation consultancy The Futures Company has opened an office in Singapore, which will act as a hub for clients across Asia Pacific.
Part of WPP's Kantar, The Futures Company was created by the merger of the Henley Centre HeadlightVision and Yankelovich, and has more recently been merged with youth research unit TRU. The firm has teams in Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia Pacific.
The new Singapore office will be led jointly by Stéphane Alpern, Managing Director for Asia Pacific and Jeremy Sy, Director of Consulting for Asia Pacific. Alpern joined in September from Nielsen Singapore, where he served as Executive Director, Regional Client Business Partner, and previously worked at Nielsen BASES as Director of Client Consulting. Sy joined in June, having earlier held senior planning roles at Ogilvy & Mather, TBWA and JWT, and worked as a Consultant at the Henley Centre for more than two years.
Will Galgey, Global CEO of The Futures Company, comments: 'Over the past few years we have developed a unique perspective on the drivers of change in the diverse markets of Asia-Pacific. Establishing a hub in Singapore enables us to help more clients in this region to seize the future.'
