In London, online sampling and technology company uSamp has promoted Ben Leet to the position of Managing Director for Europe, following the departure of Gaelle Norman who has returned to France to set up her own market research support consultancy.
The Los Angeles-based firm, which was launched as United Sample in 2008, has five offices in the United States, Europe and Asia.
Leet (pictured) joined as Sales Director in 2011, shortly after the launch of the London office in Gray's Inn Road. He previously served as an Account Director at Toluna and held senior business development roles at management consultancy Decision Tree. In his new position, he reports to EVP of Global Sales George Llorens, and is responsible for growing the uSamp business throughout Europe.
CEO Alan Gould comments: 'As one of our first employees in London three years ago, Ben has been instrumental in the growth of uSamp in the European panel industry and in expanding the brand internationally. His past experience will help position us for continued growth across Europe.'
Leet replaces Normand, who joined the firm at the end of 2010 after working as SSI's Director of Client Services in the UK, and Greenfield/Ciao's Director of Project Execution in Madrid. She told DRNO that her new consultancy will launch in January and will offer support for market research firms entering EU markets, as well as a range of management and business strategy advice.
