Ipsos' Country Manager for Malaysia, Steve Murphy, has left the company and is replaced by Miranda Cheung, who adds the title to her existing responsibilities as country manager for Singapore.
Ipsos APAC CEO Lifeng Liu says the group is committed to growing the business in Malaysia as an important market, a global hub for data processing and for its global modelling units. He comments: 'With Miranda at the helm for both Malaysia and Singapore, we will be able to effectively leverage the strengths of each market to provide better value to our clients both locally and regionally.'
Cheung, who has worked at Ipsos, Synovate and predecessor companies for twenty years and has been Singapore MD since 2005, says Ipsos Malaysia has a strong focus on operational efficiency and excellence, while Singapore is a critical market for clients looking for international coverage.
