Mobile ad and analytics specialist Medialets has launched a mobile ad serving platform called Servo, which is the first 3rd party mobile-only ad server to be accredited by the Media Rating Council (MRC) accreditation for its ability to measure display impressions and clicks.
New York-based Medialets offers technology that delivers and measures ads for applications on the iPhone and iPad, and on devices using Google Android and other mobile systems. Its new platform delivers campaign management workflow, and is able to measure and attribute mobile ads, and serve and track any creative format - including standard, video, rich media, and search - across every mobile environment.
CEO Eric Litman (pictured) says that advertisers using the service can now invest in mobile display with the 'same confidence' as purchasing television, radio, with the assurance that it has met the exacting standards required for MRC accreditation.
MRC CEO George Ivie adds: 'MRC accreditation for mobile is an absolute necessity and Medialets has done a tremendous service to the entire media industry as the first third party mobile only ad server to be accredited for its measurements of display ads in both mobile web and in application environments. Advertisers now have a newly accredited service to rely upon when determining and evaluating their investments in the mobile media arena.'
