Media measurement specialist Salience Insight has appointed former Pulse Train CEO Pat Molloy as Consulting Chief Information Officer, charged with streamlining and integrating the group's technology.
Molloy was CEO of Pulse Train when it was acquired by Confirmit in July 2007, and then became Confirmit's Chief Strategy Officer. Prior to this he served as a main Board Director at NOP; MD of Quantime (later acquired by SPSS); and CTO at Taylor Nelson Sofres (TNS). He is also a fellow of the Royal Statistical Society (RSS) and a main Board and council member of the UK's Market Research Society.
His new role includes helping to specify and build a 'comprehensive, highly specified and flexible media measurement and analysis system'.
Salience CEO Giselle Bodie comments: 'Pat's extensive market research and technology experience is proving invaluable as we move towards a model that increasingly incorporates these elements in both traditional and social media evaluation.'
