Retail data giant IRI has appointed former Nielsen France MD Olivier Humeau as Managing Director of IRI France, from 31st March. He will replace Philippe Cabin Saint Marcel, who left at the end of last year to become MD of Ipsos Marketing in the country.
Humeau (pictured) joins with nearly twenty years' FMCG industry experience. Most recently, he served as MD of frozen food company Findus in Spain, prior to which he was a Partner at product development company Anthalia, and MD of Nielsen in France. Earlier, he held category management roles at Findus and Unilever, and was a Consultant at Kantar Worldpanel (previously Secodip).

He brings extensive experience as a company leader to his new role and an in-depth knowledge of the marketing and business challenges facing retailers and manufacturers in the fast moving consumer goods industry.'
Saint Marcel joined IRI in 2005, after working for Unilever as Marketing Director, Homecare and later Customer Development Director in the Home & Personal Care division.
