George Llorens is leaving his role as EVP of Sales at online sampling firm uSamp 'to pursue other interests'. He will be replaced by Ted Bouzakis, who most recently served as Head of North American Sales.
Llorens (pictured) joined in 2012, having previously served as Regional VP of Survey Solutions, where he was responsible for the Eastern US sales region, before which he worked at mPOINT, and spent nearly five years as Regional VP at Greenfield Online. Bouzakis also joined uSamp in 2012, prior to which he was a financial services Account Executive at big data specialist EMC, and VP of Sales at business outsourcing and HR solutions company ADP. He has more than twenty years' sales experience, and also started his market research career at Greenfield Online.
CEO Alan Gould comments: 'We owe George our gratitude for the significant contributions he made to the company. We are really confident about Ted's leadership capabilities and his ability to expand our varied and growing client base given his terrific history of success at uSamp.'
In addition Elisabeth Mischel has joined the firm as VP of its DIY survey platform Instant.ly. She brings more than fifteen years' client development experience, most recently from Nielsen Catalina Solutions where she was SVP Business Development; and previously as SVP, Ad Solutions at Nielsen, which she joined in 2003 after its acquisition of IAG Research.
The latter firm was co-founded by Gould, who adds: 'As a marketer who deeply understands the market research industry, Elisabeth has worked with some of the best-known consumer packaged goods brands. Her past success in driving insights for these companies is the perfect foundation for helping to drive adoption of uSamp's Instant.ly platform.'
