Netherlands-based online research and marketing analytics firm MetrixLab has launched a big data joint venture with marketing intelligence experts Edwin Kooge and Natasha Walk.MetrixLab collects and analyses data from millions of consumers in more than 50 countries. Its new joint venture, 'MetrixLab Big Data Analytics', will extract and link data from the firm's Research Solutions division and its Social Analytics division, which analyses social media data about consumer needs, brand engagement and customer satisfaction.
Kooge and Walk are Founding Partners of commercial analytics and customer data agency MIcompany, which helps companies discover growth opportunities based on granular analysis of customer data. Commenting on the launch, Walk (pictured) said: 'Data science is not new; Edwin and I have been working in this field since 1993. This joint venture will be among the first to provide brands with the building blocks for an entire analytics ecosystem of data, technology and people, beyond the typical offering of software vendors, system integrators and consulting firms.'
