UK-based online shopping cart recovery software provider Ve Interactive has opened an office in Hong Kong, to support is AsiaPac client base.
Ve Interactive offers a platform to help online businesses reduce bounce rate, increase customer engagement, and minimise web site abandonment by remarketing to abandoned customers using captured data. Last week, the firm acquired retargeting company adGenie, whose services include helping measure and track the effectiveness of online and conventional ads.
The new Hong Kong office has been opened following the launch of a Shanghai office in 2013 and one in Tokyo earlier this year. It will be led by Regional CEO Charles Allard (pictured), who previously spent 25 years in Asian finance and while working for hedge fund provider Winton Capital, launched the first foreign CTA fund in China.ý In his new role, Allard will shortly establish operations in Singapore, Taiwan and Malaysia, while the firm is currently planning the launch of an office in South Korea.
CEO and co-founder David Brown comments: 'Establishing international operations requires significant investment and the creation of a domestic infrastructure in order to be able to service those markets professionally, as well as to ensure responsible and locally compliant data handling. With Tomas Olsson in Tokyo and now Charles Allard in Hong Kong, Ve has two highly successful and seasoned executives building out its AsiaPac operations.'
