In Singapore three senior execs, Jasal Shah, Shogo Nakazato and Masaaki Nomiya have this week announced the official launch of Union Panels, an alliance of online research panel providers.
Shah, the new alliance's President and CEO, is known as the founder of Indian offshore MR agency Markelytics Solutions. Nakazato launched Research Panel Asia in 2009 and is Union's Director, Business Development & Partner Relations. Former advertising account planner Nomiya takes the role of Director of Sales.
First established in January this year, the company also has local presence in Tokyo, Shanghai, Bangalore and New Jersey, and promises access to 'a network of reliable local panel suppliers under one platform'. Its offer will also include project management, sample selection, survey programming and data processing, analysis and reporting.
Shah says the firm will offer 'the best of premium research panels to cater to the needs of professional marketing researchers worldwide', and says it aims 'to bridge the gap between Marketers and Panels'. Nakazato adds: 'The mission of Union Panels is to be a single platform to help premium local panels reaching out to the global market in a sophisticated way. The panel market is too much crowded and I believe UPX can better serve the clients with more a transparent solution.'
