TNS Adds Three Heads of Qual

TNS has added three senior members of staff to its Qualitative practice, including former Opinion Leader exec Sarah Morris (nee Houghton), who joins as Head of TNS Qualitative.

Morris (pictured) joins with more than twenty years' experience in brand, communications and customer research. Most recently, she was a Board Director at Opinion Leader, having joined the company in 2012 from Nunwood, where she initially served as London MD and later became MD of Europe, also overseeing the firm's New York operation and its Insight and Analytics teams. Prior to this she spent sixteen years at Millward Brown, latterly as Group Account Director in charge of the firm's London office. She commenced her research career at SmithKline Beecham.

In addition, Jo Storry is relocating from London to Shanghai to serve as Head of TNS Qualitative, China. For the past fourteen years, she has run her own MR and planning consultancy Clarity Worldwide, and has served as Group Qualitative Director at Creston Group companies CML and MSL; Head of International Qualitative at Hall & Partners; and Qualitative Director at CM Research in Sydney, Australia.

Finally, William O'Connor has moved from the UK to Toronto to take on the role of Head of TNS Qualitative, Canada. He previously headed the research department at NatCen, where he spent eleven years in a number of senior qual roles. More recently, he has been a freelance research consultant, working with clients in the public and third sector.
