Effective Measure Names New CEO

In Melbourne, Australia, digital audience specialist Effective Measure has appointed Graham Plant as Chief Executive Officer, replacing Richard Webb who stepped down from the role in March.

Effective Measure provides digital audience, brand and advertising effectiveness measurement and targeting solutions, from its offices in Australia, South Africa, Dubai, Singapore, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, The Philippines, Thailand and Hong Kong. It also plans to launch in new markets before the end of the year, including New Zealand, Kenya, Morocco, Zimbabwe and Nigeria.

Plant (pictured) joins after working as an Advisor at data specialist Brand Communities, before which he was a Director at sales, marketing and business planning agency Pearl Business Solutions. Earlier, he served as MD at Pacific Micromarketing and PMP Digital, and he held senior sales and marketing roles at RMG Ltd, Ausdoc Group and Australia Post.

In his new role, Plant will be responsible for overseeing, developing and leading all operational efforts across the company's international footprint. He replaces Webb, who while remaining an 'active stakeholder' in Effective Measure, has now set up data technology platform provider Start Mesh, while serving as Chairman of social media safety platform Tribesta and of creative online community The Inspiration Room, and continuing to run his own start-up incubation firm Red Ocean.

Under the new management structure, Brendon Ogilvy has been promoted to the global role of Chief Product Officer based in Dubai and Melbourne, and Dinesh Arasaratnam has been appointed to the role of Chief Revenue Officer based in Melbourne.
