Charles Pearson, co-founder of Guildford, Surrey-based EasyInsites, has left the firm to lead client development in North America for community panel specialist Verve.Headquartered in London, Verve opened an office in Toronto last month, appointing former Research Now exec Suzanne Costa to lead it. Pearson, whose career to date has included spells at Research Now, ComScore, MarketTools, Ipsos ASI, Nielsen and GfK, will work alongside Costa on the rapid roll-out of the business in North America.
EasyInsites, whose other co-founder Jo Winning left to join Verve in December 2012 but then left with Kevin Goldberg a year later to form Tribes Research, has been acquired by Tribes today.
Verve CEO Andrew Cooper, a former colleague of Pearson, says of the new arrival: 'We are delighted to have Charles on board as we develop our position as full service Community Panel and research providers in the North American marketplace. Charles has an immense depth of experience in servicing clients with their research and panel needs. Charles and I last worked together at Research Now on its very successful entry into the US market place, and I very much look forward to doing the same again - this time with Verve's full service Community Panel and research model.'
