MMR Research Worldwide (MMR) has launched a new Sensory Science Centre in Singapore, with a panel of thirteen sensory assessors led by newly appointed Sensory Director Antonella Scarabelli.
Scarabelli, who co-founded and was Principal Consultant at sensory and consumer research specialist insight2market, will work closely with the firm's Shanghai office to boost the company's Asia Pacific offering and help clients develop successful brands for Asian markets. The Singapore office will offer MMR's full range of services including product development, pack research and Brandphonics emotion-based techniques.
MMR focuses on the food, drink, household and personal care sectors and has offices in the UK, USA, Singapore and China. Parent firm the MMR Group is privately-owned with just over 130 employees, and based in Oxfordshire, UK.
Global CEO Mat Lintern says of the latest opening: 'We are standardising our panels across countries, making MMR an exceptionally consistent research supplier, which is essential for clients running multinational development projects. Singapore is an excellent base for our South East Asian operations due to its multicultural society, geographical location and the continued development of research and development centres for some of our major clients and their flavour/fragrance partners.'
