TNS UK has appointed former Quadrangle exec Jamie Burnett as Director of Survey Methods and Sampling.
Burnett began his MR career with three years at BMRB, then seven at Ipsos MORI where he helped to establish the firm's Research Methods Centre. For the last three years he has worked at Quadrangle, latterly as Director of Analytics and Sample Design.
Former Futures Company exec Will Galgey joins TNS UK as its new CEO from mid-January, following the departure of Maureen Duffy; and Michelle Harrison is new in the post of Global Head of Political and Social. In September, three senior execs joined the Qualitative practice in London, including former Opinion Leader exec Sarah Morris (nee Houghton).
TNS UK Group Director Julia Rogers says the latest hire will help in the firm's commitment to staying ahead of new developments and innovating in research methods. She adds: 'Given the global nature of some of the work we do here at TNS and the need to utilise the power of the datasets for responsive designs we are particularly pleased to have Jamie with his vast experience.'
