Bilendi to Buy Nordic Specialist M3 Research

European-based MR and online loyalty specialist Bilendi is to acquire Nordic agency M3 Research for an undisclosed sum. In a statement, Bilendi said the transaction should double revenues from its 'Services for Market Research' division in 2016.

Marc BidouFounded in 2007, M3 Research provides Internet-based analyses and samples in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland, and the firm's online panels comprise more than 300,000 respondents collected using more than 500 different sources, on- and off-line. The company has offices in Copenhagen, Odense, Stockholm and Helsinki, and last year achieved revenues of EUR 4m.

As part of the acquisition, M3 Research's team of 26 employees will join Bilendi, and founders Mik S. Oddershede and Steen Agerskov and CEO Helle Oddershede will continue to develop the Nordic market for the group. Bilendi says the integration will result in consolidated revenues of EUR 16.6m in 2014.

Bilendi (formerly known as Maximiles) offers access to more than 2.1 million panellists in eleven major European countries, and has built an international network of partners to fulfil its customers' needs in more than 55 countries. Chairman and CEO Marc Bidou (pictured) comments on the deal: 'Our companies are very complementary. Bilendi is now well-positioned in the Northern European market, and we are confident we will deliver significant growth in 2015 with this acquisition, and also due to organic growth in our current business.'
