Steve Lavine, the co-founder of Kinesis Survey Technology, has joined the company in the capacity of President, to provide consultancy to clients, and add value to the firm's online panel and community offering.
Lavine (pictured) is also the founder of panel management firm Common Knowledge and its your2cents opinion panel. Both were acquired by Toluna in 2008, after which Lavine became CEO of Toluna USA, and then Chief Research Officer. He helped set up survey and panel management software specialist Kinesis in 2003, since when he has served as Manager of co-location specialist EastSide Co-Lo, and CEO & Publisher at hyper-local news and information portal Paperboy Press.
Commenting on his appointment, Kinesis CEO and co-founder Leslie Townsend said: 'We are thrilled to have Steve come on board as President. With his expertise, Steve is perfectly positioned to ease these challenges of today's large online panels, by providing integrated support and consulting to our clients throughout the pre-sales, highly technical on-boarding, and post-sales processes.'
