Ad giant Dentsu Aegis Network is to acquire Polish agency Marketing Wizards, which lists SEO, CRM, web analytics and usability services among its portfolio of services. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Founded in 2010, Marketing Wizards is led by three friends from the Warsaw School of Economics: Marcin Pogroszewski, Karol Milewski and Tomasz Nowiński. The firm provides a full suite of performance marketing services, and employs more than 60 consultants.
Following the acquisition, the firm will be integrated into Dentsu Aegis' digital division iProspect, and the extended team will be led by a new Management Board comprising iProspect's Client Service Director Magdalena Mulenga, and Marketing Wizards' Joint MDs Pogroszewski and Milewski, while Nowiński will act as Advisor to the Board.
Sławomir Stępniewski, Dentsu Aegis CEO in Poland & Eastern Europe, says the acquisition further strengthens the group's capabilities in Poland, 'especially in areas of dynamic growth like digital performance, while continuing to provide an integrated approach to communications for clients based on creation, media, innovation and data'. He adds: 'Marketing Wizards is an energetic and highly enthusiastic agency driven by strong leadership; they will be a great fit in the local market.'
