Jim Meyer, former Ipsos ASI Chief Executive in North America, has moved into the newly created role of Ipsos' Chief Marketing Officer, responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategy across the US and Canada.
Since 2013 Meyer (pictured) has been CEO of Ipsos advertising and brand communications research business ASI in the US and Canada. Prior to this, he worked at TNS North America, where he ran the East Region and led the Brand & Communications and Digital practices. Earlier, he set up digital analytics and ad targeting platform Mindset Media (now part of Google), and spent twenty years in the ad agency sector, working at J.Walter Thompson, D'Arcy, and Saatchi & Saatchi.
In his new position, Meyer's skills will be applied across all the North American business units, and he will be tasked with strengthening the company's brand awareness and identity in the market.
Pierre Le Manh, CEO, North America, comments: 'This new position is the latest in a series of management appointments designed to improve our offering and our position in the market. A strong strategic marketing function will be crucial to propelling us forward as game changers in the research industry, and Jim brings the perspective and experience that we need to lead that function'.
