US data collection firm SHC Universal has appointed former Kantar senior exec Hilary Fischer as SVP - New Venture Acquisition. In this role, she will focus on global product development and corporate acquisitions, while expanding the business development team into Europe.
Previously known as SurveyHealthCare, the firm collects data for the healthcare, public opinion and market research sectors, and offers access to panels of patients, consumers and more than two million healthcare professionals, for qual and quant research.
Fischer (pictured) joins with more than two decades of sector experience. Most recently, she was COO US for Lightspeed All Global, before which she spent fourteen years at Kantar Healthcare, most recently as VP of Global Operations and Compliance. Earlier, she worked as Field Supervisor at LaValle Research, and at McCarthy Associates.
Commenting on the appointment Jerry Arbittier, President of Healthcare, states: 'I am truly excited that Hilary has joined us. I have known and worked with Hilary for many years and know she will make great contributions as we continue to expand our reach across the globe'.
