Information services company Penton has launched a b2b targeting tool called the SmartReach Audience Extension.
The tool makes use of Penton's proprietary database, which contains the profiles of twenty million business decision-makers. These are engaged through a range of Penton services including content, events and workflow tools. SmartReach helps marketers reach these decision-makers when they are browsing the web; recapture their interest; and then reinforce brand messaging across more than sixteen vertical markets.
The new SmartReach Audience Extension enables marketers to target audiences through data sets which provide intelligence across more than 1,000 'firmographic' and demographic types. Group President Warren Bimblick (pictured) comments: 'With the introduction of our audience extension capabilities, marketers are able to hyper-target the exact audiences they want to reach - across the web or through social media - to convert prospects into customers'.
