In the US, marketing data firm DataMentors has appointed Michelle Taves as Senior Vice President of Data Strategy and Product Management.
DataMentors provides business intelligence and 'Data-as-a-Service', using real-time analytics to help clients optimise their data-driven marketing strategies. Earlier this year, the company merged with competitor Relevate, bringing the latter's CEO Steve Rao and CTO Damon Horst in as COO and CIO respectively, and retaining Vice Chairman Peg Kuman in her senior advisory role.
Taves (pictured) joins DataMentors with more than twenty years' marketing and leadership experience in the marketing data sector. Most recently, she worked for The Allant Group as VP of Data Solutions, responsible for the supervision of its business and consumer data solutions. Prior to this, she spent more than seven years at Acxiom in leadership roles.
In her new position, Taves is responsible for driving the direction of DataMentors' marketing data solutions, including the Relevate suite of tools. CEO Bob Orf comments: 'Michelle's proven track record in developing data solutions across both offline and digital media channels will be a tremendous asset. Her expertise will ensure our clients have access to real-time marketing data to meet their growth objectives.'
