Manchester-based agency Join the Dots has opened an office in Singapore, its first outside the UK. Karen Schofield, previously the company's Innovations Director, will head it up as MD, Singapore.
The firm says the office will service existing clients with operations in the Far East, including Glaxo Smith Kline, Unilever and Diageo, but also signals its intention to pursue new opportunities across Asia.
Join the Dots grew by 28% in 2015, and 25% the previous year, and says its turnover is 'set to reach £10m in 2016'. In the last year an increased graduate intake and a number of other appointments in the summer and autumn have helped raise headcount to 117.
Founder and director Pete Comley (pictured) says the new office was 'the next logical step' given clients in the region, and adds: 'We have ambitious plans for growth and, apart from allowing us to develop closer relationships with our clients' businesses out there; the office provides the perfect base from which to expand our interests across Asia'.
