MARU Group Hires Ducat as CFO

Recently formed research, insight and advisory services provider MARU Group has appointed Publicis and TNS veteran Steve Ducat as Chief Financial Officer.

MARU Group was founded earlier this year, is led by former Synovate/Ipsos Global CEO Ged Parton, and is backed by private equity finance company Primary Capital Partners. Last month, the company acquired Hampshire, UK-based eDigitalResearch (edr), and Vision Critical's North American Research Consulting division.

Ducat (pictured) joins from Publicis, where he worked for nearly six years, most recently as CFO - UK & Nordics. Prior to this he was Finance Director at WPP-owned RMG Connect, Senior Client Programme Management Director at Research International, Finance Director at The Sportsman, and Finance Director UK & Ireland at TNS, where he worked for twelve years.
