Isentia Announces Asia Pacific Acquisitions

Asia Pacific media monitoring group Isentia has acquired South Korea-based media intelligence firm Social Net Creator for an undisclosed sum. The firm has also completed a 'bolt-on' acquisition in Thailand and is close to finalising company buys in Vietnam and Hong Kong.

Isentia monitors and interprets data from mainstream media organizations, online news sources and user-generated content. CEO John Croll described the South Korean acquisition as an 'important move', along with the other potential acquisitions in existing markets.

Chief Executive of Asia, David Liu (pictured), added: 'The acquisition of Social Net Creator will enable Isentia to take media intelligence services in South Korea to the next level. Isentia's global best practice technology and verification systems and the award winning Mediaportal will see our South Korean business provide a new level of service to clients'.
