US firm DataMentors has launched a mobile marketing solution called Relevate Signals, to enable automotive dealerships to target actual customers during the 48 to 72-hour period when they are making a car buying decision.
The new service taps into DataMentors Relevate suite of data solutions, which includes Relevate Auto's transactional data on over 225 million consumers and nearly 200 million VINs (vehicle identification numbers), with linkage at the household and garage level. The database contains full consumer profiles, demographics and contact information, and is built from more than six billion records of data each month with daily updates. Using the tool, dealerships can gain insight into which of their customers and prospects are visiting competing dealerships within a specified radius; as well as when a person visits a dealership for a possible auto insurance change.
CEO Anders Ekman (pictured) says Relevate Signals is 'a revolutionary new product, completely different from traditional mobile marketing or lead products in the marketplace today'. He explains: 'Marketers today target consumers by market segments and devices but Signals' leads represent real people who are actively shopping at a dealer lot. Our innovative solution matches mobile devices to actual people complete with demographics, contact information, and VIN data'.
